Decision on season deferred

Township of Stone Mills to make decision re ice status in mid-February
As we shared earlier, the Frontenac Fury was awaiting a decision by the Township of Stone Mills regarding status of ice at the Stone Mills Recreation Centre.
Last night, Township Council decided to again defer a decision until the current lockdown expires on February 11, 2021. At that time, the Township will meet again to determine next steps: if the stay-at-home order is extended, it may choose to remove the ice in which case our season will end; if the stay-at-home order is lifted, the Township will leave the ice in and we will be able to resume our season.
