Hockey season paused over holiday break

Association is cancelling all ice times between December 23, 2020 and January 3, 2021 out of an abundance of caution.
Out of an abundance of caution, we will be pausing our season during the upcoming holidays. We will be cancelling all ice times between December 23, 2020 and January 3, 2021. This means no practices/scrimmages on December 28 & 29, 2020 and January 2, 2021 at Stone Mills Recreation Centre in Tamworth. As COVID-19 cases creep up in KFL&A, we are taking these steps to align with public health recommendations, and keep the health and safety of players and families at the forefront. We may extend this pause dependent on the local situation and the best information available to us.
Further, it is imperative that players and families continue to follow all Return to Play protocols. All players should self-screen for COVID-19 symptoms BEFORE you come to the arena. If you have any symptoms, or are feeling ill, please stay home. All those attending the arena must sign in, wear face coverings at all times inside (except for when players and bench staff are helmeted and on the ice), clean their hands upon entry/exit and use the one-way entry/exit. Also, as a reminder, no spectators are allowed except for one parent/guardian per under 18 player. Parents/guardians must proceed directly to the bleachers. No loitering outside of change rooms please. No siblings are permitted to attend the arena.
