Registration is now open for 2020-2021

2020-05-01

Register before August 1, 2020 to avoid late fee.

Registration for the 2020-2021 season with the Frontenac Fury Girls’ Hockey Association is now open.

Families are invited to register their player now for the fall season. While there are still some unknowns regarding the upcoming season due to COVID-19, our Executive continues to work behind-the-scenes preparing, and registration is an important part of that planning.

Registration remains at $700 per player with some discounts for multiple players per family, novice players and goalies. These discounts are available through the online registration portal.

Registration will remain open until August 1, 2020. After August 1, a $100 late registration fee will be charged. Also, if you register after August 1, we may not be able to offer your player a spot on a team. Registering early will allow us to plan more efficiently for the upcoming season. Payment options, however, are flexible beyond August 1.

Please note we have added additional payment options this year.
  • One-time payment $700 due at time of registration (credit card or cheque)
  • Three-payment option due July 1, August 1 and September 1 (payable by post-dated cheques)
  • Five-payment option due July 1, August 1, September 1, October 1 and November 1 (payable by post-dated cheques)
Families may choose their preferred option within the online registration portal.

Hockey can sometimes be a financial burden for some families. The Frontenac Fury has compiled a list of various funding opportunities that families can investigate to assist them in covering hockey registration fees:

Families can also apply to the Jessie Arthur Bursary to assist families in need of financial support to participate in our house league. The bursary is in memory of local hockey player Jessie Arthur who passed away from cancer with support from her parents, Bill and Kerry Arthur (Sydenham Pet and Farm Supply).

Applications to receive funds may be submitted via confidential email to the President. The fund is administered by the Fury Executive.

We look forward to seeing you at the rink soon!
